We understand our jobs might sound too good to be true, or you may have questions about how it all works. We’ve answered some common questions below, but if you have more, just apply we’re happy to answer anything during the application process.
How does the temporary housing work?
We provide temporary housing for well-qualified new hires, typically free for the first 3 months. After that, employees can either find their own place or choose to pay rent to stay in one of our employee houses.
Please note that employee housing is for individuals only—no spouses, partners, family, friends, or pets are allowed. While we offer this initial support, we strongly encourage you to research the cost of living in Hawaii and only accept a position if you’re financially prepared.
What do I do for transportation when I get to the island?
Each employee house has a shared vehicle available for transportation to and from job sites, as well as for running errands.
Are you really paying what the ads have posted and why the range?
Yes, we really do pay the salaries stated in our job postings. The ranges are based on experience.
Are the benefits advertised for real?
Yes—health insurance starts immediately, paid holidays begin after 90 days, and paid vacation is available after one year of employment, to be taken between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
